The Tinnahinch Fly Fishing Centre is situated in the Dargle Valley forms part of the Henry Grattan Estate. This historic estate was once owned parlimenatarian, Henry Grattan and the river Dargle runs through it. It is situated one mile from Enniskerry and half a mile southbound from the Powerscourt Estate. The lake is set in a quiet mature wooded valley, the lake is spring fed and comprises of four acres of cystal clear water well laid out with five islands, peninsulas and coves. The fish are hard fightings, fully finned rainbow trout many of which are over 12lb in weight. There is a separate junior pool and tuition in fly casting is available all year round. There is a large log built club house which is approached by a tree line avenue which accomdates a recpeiton room, a tackle shop and bar. Views from the decking overlook the lake and are spectacular.
